Bedrooms made to measure
We make the double bed, bedside tables and wardrobe to the measurements of your bedroom, so that the pieces work as a whole.
The bedroom is where shop-bought furniture often does not quite fit: the bed is a few centimetres too wide, the wardrobe will not go under the sloping ceiling and the bedside tables do not match the height of the bed. When we make a bedroom to measure, every piece matches in size and material. It can be modern or classic, in solid wood or veneered panels.
We make the bed to the dimensions of the mattress you already have or plan to buy, and set its height to what you find comfortable. There can be storage under the bed, and the headboard can be fixed to the wall and joined to the two bedside tables. In smaller flats, a made-to-measure folding bed that disappears into a cupboard during the day is another option.

What we pay attention to
Bed base and storage
A slatted base ventilates the mattress from below, so moisture does not stay trapped in it. If you need room for bedding, we can make drawers under the bed or a storage box with a lift-up base. Drawers are handier for everyday use, while a storage box holds more.
Solid wood or veneered panels
Solid wood, such as oak or walnut, is sturdy and can be refinished, but it responds to the humidity in the room. Veneered panels have a real wood surface and are more stable, so they suit large surfaces such as headboards and wardrobe fronts.
Arranging the bedroom
Leave enough space on both sides of the bed for getting up and making the bed. If the wardrobe stands opposite the bed, we check that the doors and drawers open fully. We fix wall-hung bedside tables to the wall, which makes it easier to clean the floor beneath them.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can you make a bed for a non-standard mattress?
Yes. We make the bed frame to the actual dimensions of the mattress, so a longer or wider bed than usual is also possible. We recommend choosing the mattress before the bed is made, or sending us its exact dimensions.
Does the whole bedroom have to be in the same material?
No. A common combination is a solid wood bed with a wardrobe in veneered or painted panels. We choose the materials together so that the pieces match one another in colour and texture.
How much does a made-to-measure bedroom cost?
